This is how I see it so far…
So what makes stuff offensive to one group of people and not another? Would a creeping action to introduce a certain group/nation as “enemies” the key to normalcy and thus we are not able to see it until it’s too late?
The Philippines second largest religion is Islam and there are many shows around the world that portray them in offensive manner, yet no one was kind enough to speak out for our Muslim brother and sisters.
In a global world, where there will be an interaction from one cultural with another each of one of us will carry our own bias, and prejudice. And there’s a very fine line between offending someone and acknowledging it as if it was nothing.
